Video Series

2021 was an amazing year – global pandemic aside!

One of my own dreams was to spend 3 months in Italy working with international clients to satisfy their real estate needs – and delivering workshops for real estate professionals.

I ended up staying 4 months! And, I chronicled my journey along the way in my FUTUREbyDESIGN Video Series. Each episode’s message will inspire and guide you in taking action to create the life you want – and deserve – to live.

FUTUREbyDESIGN - "Ep. 042 SEASON FINALE!!"

Imagine your life as a long staircase that can lead you to things that you never thought possible and take you to the future that has been waiting patiently for you to get there. Your dreams are like a train taking you to new places only to find more steps that lead you to the next dream. To live a full life is to engage your senses, live new emotions, meet new people, conquer the challenges, live out those dreams and move on to the next one. My dreams are my guiding principles. I live each day of my life chasing them and they have taken me to places I never thought I could go. My future excites me because I know that I can accomplish any goal simply by applying the strategies I teach. I meet people along the way who guide me, I make new friends, capture each moment, and create beautiful memories learning along the way. With more than 20 years of personal and organizational leadership and coaching experience, I have trained hundreds in designing and creating the future that they want to live. As a designer of futures I am committed to delivering workshops and seminars that teach, inspire, and impact everyone in attendance. What’s more important than where you are or where you have been is what you are moving towards…But you must take the first step. Life is an ocean of infinite possibilities, yet we set limits on what's possible constrained by fear and the beliefs that have been handed to us by the past which we wear like an old pair of shoes. What if you kicked off those shoes? What would be possible if you were unconstrained by comfort? Sometimes you feel like you walk alone, but it takes something to stand for what's possible in your life. Among other titles, my business card reads “Pizza lover.” Whether it's my life or my pizza, it's not just a slice. It's the whole pie… or nothing at all! My name is Alex Lombardi, Creator of FUTUREbyDESIGN. You can let life happen, or you can design and create the life that you want to live… the choice is yours!

FUTURE by DESIGN - Ep. 027 "THE POWER OF COMMUNITY"

What if instead of labelling others as "competitors" we took the perspective that they are "collaborators"? Here are 6 powerful reasons not to go it alone: 1. Collective wisdom. No one person ever has all of the answers. Consulting with other experts is always going to give you better information. 2. Pushing our limits. By surrounding yourself with others working toward a similar goal or objective, you’ll get motivation, support, and friendly competition to push yourself just a bit further. 3. Support and belief. On those days when you most want to give up, you need to lean on your community the most. They believe in you—probably more than you belief in yourself. 4. New ideas. When you are working within a community of like-minded people, the wisdom of crowds is considerably greater than any one person working alone. We all approach the exact same problem slightly differently. 5. Borrowed motivation. On those days when your belief in yourself isn’t scarce, look around your community and be inspired! 6. Accountability. You may not want to admit to people who are pulling for you that something didn’t get done. There’s nothing like having to be accountable to others to up your game. Allowing others to help is hard, but it ultimately raises everyone’s game, and suddenly that summit isn’t nearly so far off. Trying to go at it alone, although sometimes self-gratifying, can often make things much more difficult. Taking a look today at those that surround you to get clear on "The Power of Community".
